Simply Stunning
May 18, 2008 by PamHeading To Tassie
April 9, 2008 by PamI’ve always wanted to go to Tasmania but, with a busy life, never seemed to get the chance..until now that is. Well, May rather than right now. And to be precise we land in Launceston on May 20th and fly out of Hobart on May 28th.
I’ve been asked to make some time available to do some photoshoots and am happy to do so. I will be heading up and down the East coast area for 8 days and, thus far have only definitely decided on the first 3 nights being in Launceston. After that we’ll go with the flow.
If you would like to book a session during May 20th and 28th, drop me an email and we’ll see what we can do.
I can’t wait to have a go at all that beautiful scenery too. Really must get my travel link up and running so I can share.
Cheers
Paperific
April 3, 2008 by PamLast weekend I had a stand at the Paperific Expo. For those of you who have never heard of Paperific – well apart from the fact that you can’t be scrapbookers – it is a paper crafts expo where you can see, and buy, many of the latest products all in the one place.
Technically, my stand – photography – didn’t fit with the main theme of the expo because I didn’t sell anything but as I was offering a photography package as the door prize, it was a way for people to see what they were getting. Of course, there’s also the point that many of the people I take photos for use them to do layouts with so there is a relationship I guess.
I tried to avoid hanging around my stand so that people could look around freely and not feel as if someone was watching them but guess what…I was…from afar LOL. No, really, I wasn’t stalking anyone, just keeping an eye out in case anyone looked like they wanted a hand. There were heaps of cards and vouchers for people to take if they wanted to get in touch with me later.
When I did venture near, or someone found me in their wanderings (I did have my ID tag on), the feedback they offered was heartwarming. All the hard work you put into something like this is well worth the wonderful compliments that you receive. The memory boxes and canvas were a huge hit!
Here are a couple of pics.
A sunny day
April 3, 2008 by PamFirst of all, I do want to apologise for the lack of paragraphs that WordPress is choosing to publish. Haven’t worked out what the glitch is as, when I write each post, I do it correctly but something is being scrambled during the publishing stage.
Here are a few pics I did a couple of weeks ago at a popular location in Melbourne.
We had a great morning.
Cheers
A field of sunflowers
March 10, 2008 by PamHad the pleasure of working with some wonderful people on Saturday.
These people have to be the most organised with an astonishing eye for detail that I’ve ever met. Long before their wedding day began, they had planted, not one but two fields of sunflowers (plan A & B covered) to get married smack bang in the middle of. They had made an aisle and centre cirlce complete with marquee. It was absolutely beautiful.
Apart from their attention to detail, they would also have to be the most relaxed group I have ever met, especially for a wedding day. If they were at all nervous, they didn’t show it. The day was full of love and fun…just as a wedding should be.
Here are a few of the images of the day.

Cheers Pam
Busy, busy, busy
January 23, 2008 by PamYou’d be forgiven for thinking I’ve not been doing any shooting because I haven’t shared anything but, in fact, I’ve done quite a few shoots – just haven’t got around to showing anything here. Don’t get excited though, I haven’t really got time to put anything much up now either, however, I will share this from a shoot I did last night.
The family were just lovely and it wasn’t until near the end of the shoot that I spotted a glimpse of these arms. This image is a composite of a photo I took of his back and a profile’ish’ shot.
Blast Off
November 22, 2007 by PamAfter much frustration, my new website finally went live today. I won’t go into all the dramas – suffice to say that customer service and pride in one’s work seems to be a thing of the past and it’s driving me crazy. Perhaps that’s why it is a top priority at Aduro.
I still have to iron out a couple of glitches and finish uploading the galleries but it all takes time and I’ll get there soon enough.
Check it out and tell me what you think.
Hello world!
November 19, 2007 by PamWelcome to aduro photography’s blog.
This is where I’ll attempt to keep you up to date on what’s happening around the place. Basically, what we’re doing, where we’re going and any package specials that might come up from time to time.
It may even include some of my personal shooting stuff that you might be interested in.
So, stay tuned.
Cheers
Pam
